There are a variety of ways for individuals, and businesses, to contribute to the Virginia Living Museum:

  • Mobile Giving   Support the Virginia Living Museum through mobile text giving. Donations are collected for the benefit of the Virginia Living Museum by the Mobile Giving Foundation.

  • Individual Annual Fund
Individual support enables the Museum to care for more than 245 native species of animals and educate more than 60,000 children a year.

  • Corporate Partnerships
Businesses are vital partners in all our endeavors. Corporate annual support enables our growth as a major educational and cultural attraction. Event sponsorships offer businesses marketing opportunities with the Museum.

  • Capital Campaign
Phase I of the Gateway to Nature Capital Campaign (2007-09) included $2.2 million in improvements to the Museum's campus and retiring the $9 million construction loan from the 2004 campaign that built the present Museum building. The campus improvements included attractions to increase visitation, grow education programming, update technology and create interactions with nature and the environment that inspire conservation and learning.

  • Pilings and Pavers
You can help support the Museum through the purchase of a commemorative plaque (PDF) on a piling along the boardwalk ($1,000), or a personalized paver (PDF) along the Museum's entrance walkway ($150).

  • Specific Program Giving
You can support the Museum through on-line shopping, memorial gifts to commemorate a loved one or through special programs throughout the year. • Animal Aid Club
Animal lovers of all ages can participate in projects that help feed our animals.
