Attention Homeschool Parents! On Wednesday June 4 the Virginia Living Museum’s classroom doors will open once again for “Homeschool Students Only!” We’ll be presenting a selection of fun and engaging classroom programs that highlight important Natural Science and Earth Science concepts for elementary and middle school grades. In addition to those learning opportunities, we’re offering “Born to be Wild: Animal Survival ” - live animal programs where you and your favorite students can learn about some of the amazing adaptations of some very special animals
The museum's science education programs have been endorsed by the Virginia Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Education and the National Science Foundation.
