May 12  Mars Mania/Star Party/Lasers

Join the Virginia Living Museum for a Mars-related evening. Enjoy NASA Mars exhibits and activities in the Wason Education Center lobby 5:30-9:30pm. Hear Jill Prince, NASA entry, descent and landing expert, at 6pm. Followed by stargazing (weather permitting) and monthly planetarium program and laser shows. “Virginia Skies” 7:30pm. Laser Mania, at 8:30pm, includes “Attack of the Radioactive Hamsters from a Planet Near Mars!” Pink Floyd double feature: “The Wall” 10pm, “Dark Side of the Moon” 11:30pm.

Time: 5:30pm--12:30am

Cost: Shows $3 members, $6 non-members; star gazing, NASA talk and exhibits free.
