Joseph R. Witt of Ferguson Enterprises elected president of Virginia Living Museum Board of Trustees

Joseph (Joe) R. Witt, treasurer of Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., was elected president of the Virginia Living Museum’s Board of Trustees following the annual meeting May 17.

Other officers elected were:

• President - Elect:  Conway H. Sheild, III, partner, Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly

• Secretary: Charles Wornom, president, Abbitt Realty Company

• Treasurer:  Gerald L. Passaro, regional president TowneBank

The following were elected to new three-year terms as trustees during the annual meeting, also on May 17:

• Regina Brayboy, chief operating officer, WHRO

• William M. Grace, president, Grace Industries, Inc.

• Ed Maroney, former Newport News City Manager

• John Q. A. Mattern, II, D.O., Virginia Oncology Associates

• Maquiling Parkerson, general attorney, Norfolk Southern Corp.

• Donald N. Patten, attorney, Patten, Wornom, Hatten & Diamonstein, L.C.

• Douglas Pons, general manager, Quarterpath Inn and president, Williamsburg Hotel Motel Association.

             

Re-elected to the board was:

• Gerald L. Passaro, regional president, TowneBank.

Elected as new members of the museum’s Board of Advisors were Jerry Clark, Bill Downey, Will Hoskins, Bert Kelly and John Stegeman. Re-elected to the Board of Advisors were Mari Ann Banks, John Garrett, Ralph Goldstein, Turner Spencer and Jake Thomas.

The Virginia Living Museum is a private non-profit 501(c)3 corporation.
