Mother Nature's Traveling Road Show

We’ll come TO YOU with living creatures. Enhance your summer activities for children, families, scouts and senior citizens with a visit from the Virginia Living Museum. We will come to your library, day care facility, retirement community, church or camp to add live animals and involve your clients in an educational and fun program.
All programs are 40 minutes in length and mix fascinating live animals with educational fun. Programs are only offered Monday through Friday.
Fee is $125 per program.

Reptiles Rock!
June 18 – July 20
Have you ever wondered: What’s hiding under that turtle’s shell? Why are reptile tongues shaped like the letter Y? How can a snake climb without hands? Here’s your chance to find out! You’ll get up close to some of your favorite reptiles while you learn a lot more about the fascinating lives of these animals.
Mammal Mania!
July 23 — August 24
Welcome to the world of mammals. What does it take to be one? Are they all the same? What special adaptations do they have to survive? Are whales, skunks and bats all mammals? Are you? Learn about the wonderful world of mammals with this fun, interactive program.
