December 31: Noon Year's Eve Celebration
11am - 1pm
The
whole family can enjoy this day-time New Year’s celebration. Meet
special animal friends from the Teeny Tiny
Farm. Celebrate New Year's around the world with carnival games,
prizes, crafts and a world of fun. Countdown at noon with a special
guest.
Time: 11am to 1pm. Museum open 9am-5pm.
Cost: Museum admission required. Most activities require a additional fee.
Bring your quarters to purchase individual activity tickets or purchase a wrist band for $10 in advance or $12 at the door. A wristband guarantees unlimited access to games, crafts and activities and a goodie bag with gifts.
In China, 2012 will be the year of the dragon. Join us for crafts to
make and take including a crown, dragon puppet, New Year's noisemaker,
snowflake mandala, and dragon bookmark.
Ring in the year with activities and
games including an inflatable slide, tattoos, duck pond game, ring toss
game, egg races, fishing game, Chinese zodiac challenge game and candy
walk.
Special guest include Bubbles the Clown, Teeny Tiny Farm and "Bubbles"
the VLM Mascot. Plus, live animal shows will assure you can meet VLM
critters up-close and personal!
