William B. Downey of Riverside re-elected president of Virginia Living Museum Board of Trustees

William B. Downey, chief operating officer of Riverside Health System, was re-elected president of the Virginia Living Museum's Board of Trustees at the annual meeting June 20.

Other officers elected are:

• President - Elect: Jerome F. Clark, president, SunTrust Bank 
• Secretary: Conway Sheild, III, partner, Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly 
• Treasurer: Joe Witt, treasurer, Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. 
   

The following were elected to new three-year terms as trustees:

• John Biagas, CEO, Bay Electric Co., Inc. 
• John Gillespie, vice president of marketing, Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country, USA 
• Lynn Hornsby of North 
• Mary Oder, supervisor, Witt Mares 
• Tom Ross, Peninsula operations manager, Cox Communications 
• Lynn A. Sugg, an assistant city attorney with the city of Newport News  
    

Re-elected to the board were

• Jerome F. Clark, president, SunTrust Bank 
• Joe Witt, treasurer, Ferguson Enterprises, Inc.  
• Charles Wornom, president, Abbitt Management 

Elected as a new member of the museum's Board of Advisors was John Lawson, president and CEO, W.M. Jordan Co. Re-elected to the Board of Advisors were Carolyn Abbitt, Cynthia Andrews, William Andrews, Charles Banks, Gerald Brink, Thomas R. Brooks, Gary Curbow, Herbert V. Kelly, Sr., and Dr. John Mattern III.
