NEW Walk with a Keeper First Tuesdays at 8:15am through November


$10 members, $12 non-members. MUST RESERVE BY 5PM MONDAY.


Walk with a keeper to see our animals venture out in the cool of the morning when they are most active. Red Wolves, otters, wild turkeys and Coastal Plain Aviary are featured with lots of animal enrichment activities

Behind the Scenes Tours

Tuesday and Saturday at 3pm.


$10 members, $12 non-members.


Ever wonder what goes on "Behind-the-Scenes" at the Virginia Living Museum? Now is your chance to find out! Guided by a member of our knowledgeable curatorial staff...journey to areas of the museum where daily visitors are not allowed.

Animal Confidential Tours Wednesday at 3pm.


$10 members, $12 non-members.


Imagine finding yourself face to face and fifteen feet from the endangered Red Wolf?  An  Animal Confidential Tour with Curatorial Director George Mathews, Jr. will take you closer than your average visitor.
