Jerome F. Clark of SunTrust Bank elected president of Virginia Living Museum Board of Trustees

Jerome F. Clark, president of SunTrust Bank, was elected president of the Virginia Living Museum's Board of Trustees following the annual meeting May 15.

Other officers elected are:

• President - Elect: Joe Witt, treasurer, Ferguson Enterprises, Inc.
• Secretary: Charles Wornom, president, Abbitt Management
• Treasurer: Gerald Passaro, president TowneBank

The following were elected to new three-year terms as trustees during the annual meeting, also on May 15:

• Francie Bailey, consultant, Newport News
• William R. Ermatinger, vice president, Human Resources and Administration, Northrop Grumman Newport News
• Jennifer Gadams, O.D., Hampton Roads Eye Associates
• Dawn Hunt, DMD, Poquoson
• Sue Ivy, vice president, Bank of Amerca.

Re-elected to the board were:

• Jerome F. Clark, president, SunTrust Bank
• Dean Canavos, managing member, Canavos Properties, Inc.
• Brian P. Hutchens, Sr., president, Hutchens Chevrolet.

 
Elected as new members of the museum's Board of Advisors were Lois Bowman, Allen Jones, Mike Petters and Ellen Thacker. Re-elected to the Board of Advisors were George R. Goodson, Jr., Mary Sherwood Holt, Jeffrey L. Mendelsohn and Harry H. Wason.

The Virginia Living Museum is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2006. It is a private non-profit 501(c)3 corporation.
