William B. Downey of Riverside to lead Virginia Living Museum Board of Trustees

William B. Downey, chief operating officer of Riverside Health System, was elected president of the Virginia Living Museum¹s Board of Trustees at the June 21 annual meeting.

Other officers elected are:

• Vice President - Operations: Jerome F. Clark, president, SunTrust Bank  
• Vice President - Development: Allen R. Jones, Jr., CEO, Dominion Therapy & Associates 
• Vice President - Long Range Planning: Herbert V. Kelly, Jr., partner, Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly 
• Secretary: Conway Sheild, III, partner, Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly  
• Treasurer: Russell V. Meyers, CPA, partner, Eggleston Smith, PC

 
The following were elected to new three-year terms as trustees:

• Courtney Gardner, Gardner Consulting  
• Jeffrey Luckman, vice president, livestock procurement, Smithfield Foods 
• Gerald L. Passaro, president TowneBank, Peninsula/Williamsburg  
• John A. Stegeman, vice president, waterworks, Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. 

 
Re-elected to the board were:

• Karen Beale, executive vice president, Hamner Development Co.

Elected as new members of the museum's Board of Advisors were John H. Garrett, III, senior vice president, Logistics, Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., and Ralph Goldstein, partner, Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly. Re-elected to the Board of Advisors were Mari Ann Banks, Donald Blankenship and James B. (Jake) Thomas, Jr.
