Virginia Living Museum to hold Third Annual Bacchus Wine and Food Festival Friday, Feb. 9

Enjoy an evening of fine wines, microbrews, great food and live music at the Virginia Living Museum’s Third Annual Bacchus Wine and Food Festival Friday, Feb. 9 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.


The evening is a fund-raiser to support programs and operations at the Newport News museum.


Wines from around the world have been selected by Tri-Cities Beverage Corp. and The Williamsburg Winery and Wedmore Place.


New this year will be micro-brew tasting by the St. George Brewing Co.


Food will be provided by Anna’s Italian Restaurant, Carrot Tree, Cheers Restaurant, County Grill and Smokehouse, Das Waldcafe, Harbor Espresso Cafe, La Bodega-Hampton, Lonestar Steakhouse and Saloon, Rivers Inn Restaurant, Riverwalk Restaurant, Schlesinger’s Chop House, Schlotzsky’s Deli, Thai Erawan, Trader Joe’s and Tsunami Sushi.


Robin Welch and the One O’Clock Jazz Ensemble will perform throughout the evening.


Caricatures will be available by Ed Matish.


Tickets are $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door. There is a 10 percent discount for groups of 10 or more.
